Teletherapy allows an individual to receive mental health services through a HIPAA compliant video and audio platform. Research has shown that it is as effective as face to face counseling. Some of the benefits of tele therapy are that it is more convenient and accessible for clients.

Teletherapy allows you to connect with a therapist in the comfort of your own environment without having to worry about taking extra time out of your day to get to and from your appointment. It is the perfect solution if you are a busy working professional, mom, wife, or all three!





At your Convenience

  • Identify a space that is quiet, private and free of distractions.

  • If there are multiple people for example in your home, consider using some sort of signal that shows you are in your therapy session (i.e. do not disturb sign on the door, a hand signal, turning on a special light) to avoid non-emergency interruptions.

  • Check in to your appointment 5 to 10 minutes before your scheduled time. If I am running a few minutes late and haven't been able to reach you, I am likely finishing up with a client. 

  • Test your internet connection. Some tips to ensure a quality connection include, (1) having your device adequately charged, (2) closing any programs or applications that may affect your device's performance, and (3) being hardwired to your modem for an optimal connection.

Your privacy is important to us.


We will never under any circumstances record sessions. Coaching clients can request to have their sessions recorded.


As we would in a face to face session, we will take notes so that we can provide quality care.

The most ideal device to use is a laptop or computer with a webcam, microphone, and speaker. A tablet or cell phone is also sufficient.
